Nødblus are a Danish band from Aarhus who combine Danish-language rap and poetry with rock. Drawing on nu-metal, punk and the literary tradition of Dan Turell, they build their live show around funky bass lines, distorted guitar and driving drums - all in service of lyrics that take a critical look at society. The band considers itself possibly the only Danish-language rap rock/metal act in Denmark, tackling taboo subjects such as mental illness and political hypocrisy.
Nødblus released their self-titled debut EP on Bandcamp on February 28, 2019 with the tracks 'Dum', 'Kaffebord' and 'Nødblus'.
The band played a sold-out Wednesday concert at Fatter Eskil in Aarhus with over 60 spectators.
Nødblus came to Spotify and described themselves as perhaps the only Danish-language rap rock/metal band in Denmark.
