NOVO Quartet is a Danish string quartet founded in Copenhagen in 2018, comprising violinists Kaya Kato Møller and Nikolai Vasili Nedergaard, violist Daniel Śledziński, and cellist Signe Ebstrup Bitsch. They won first prize and four special prizes at the 2023 Concours de Genève, and were selected by the Danish Arts Foundation for its Young Artistic Elite programme 2024-26. Their debut album 'TRACK 1' (Aparté, October 2025) - featuring Nielsen, Shostakovich and a world premiere by Matias Vestergård - earned five stars in Politiken and Editor's Choice in Gramophone. From September 2025 they are BBC New Generation Artists 2025-27 and Ensemble in Association at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
