About

Olivier Antunes is a Paris-born jazz pianist of French-Portuguese descent who grew up in Denmark and has been a fixture on the Danish jazz scene since the 1980s. Trained at Vestjysk Musikkonservatorium and later in New York under Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Werner, he is known for a technically commanding, lyrical style rooted in the tradition of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans. He has collaborated with Jesper Thilo, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Art Farmer and others, and works as organist at Elias Church in Copenhagen.
