Olle Nyberg (born 1959 in Falun, Sweden) spent 15 years as musical director and keyboard player in Björn Afzelius' legendary band Globetrotters, co-producing several of the singer-songwriter's albums. After Afzelius died in 1999, Nyberg initiated tribute tours that have played to sold-out venues in Denmark since 2020, first as the trio Guran, Nyberg & Nord and later in new line-ups. He also has a long career on the Danish and Swedish music scenes, having worked with artists such as Lis Sørensen, Allan Olsen, Ulf Lundell and Sven-Ingvars.
On February 14, 2026, the new trio Guran, Nyberg & Lagnefors performs at Blokhus Vinterfestival.
Olle Nyberg is now part of a new trio with singer and composer colleague Jimmy Lagnefors, who among other things performs at Skive Theater on February 11, 2026.
The tour "Sånger till friheten" with Nyberg, Göran Blomgren and Mikael Nord Andersson premiered on September 13, 2025 and reached 19 cities in Sweden, several of which sold out.
