Peter Mygind (born 28 August 1963 in Frederiksberg) is a Danish actor, television host, public speaker and author, and the son of actress and theatre director Jytte Abildstrøm. Trained at the Danish National School of Performing Arts, he has appeared across a wide range of Danish film and television, from Lars von Trier's 'The Kingdom' and the political drama 'Borgen' to the WWII film 'Flame & Citron'. Since 2020 he has led the internationally distributed crime series 'Sommerdahl' as chief detective Dan Sommerdahl, and he is also an active anti-bullying campaigner and speaker.
