New Year's Gala - Concert

Sønderjylland Symphony Orchestra presents this year's New Year's Gala with a programme blending Viennese waltzes, romantic excerpts by Grieg and others, and operatic drama from Rossini. Peter Mygind hosts the evening and guides the audience through the programme, while soloists from the orchestra contribute throughout. The conductor is Christian Øland.

Peter Mygind describes the evening himself: "Celebrating a new year is both exciting and thought-provoking. A year holds all emotions, and we will try to create them at the New Year's Gala concert. But above all, joy and enthusiasm will be the thread running through it. I'm really looking forward to guiding the audience and orchestra through a sparkling, champagne-popping, festive fireworks evening."

Doors open at 18:30, and the concert begins at 19:30.
