Queen of Denmark
Queen of Denmark reimagines the legendary rock band's classics with new frontwoman Rikke Hvidbjerg, a seasoned backing vocalist and musical theatre performer. A high-energy tribute with attitude.
Queen of Denmark is a Danish Queen tribute band founded in 2013, performing the classic Queen catalogue with a female lead vocalist. Since 2025 that role belongs to Rikke Hvidbjerg, a trained musical theatre performer and former backing vocalist for artists including Rasmus Seebach and AQUA. The band's musicians have roots in acts such as Royal Hunt and Pretty Maids, and the group has appeared on Danish television programmes including TV2's 'Hva' Bruden Ikke ved' and DR's 'Aftenshowet'.
Rikke Hvidbjerg was officially presented as the new lead singer of Queen of Denmark, which thus for the first time has a woman at the front.
Rikke Hvidbjerg tours alongside AQUA, while she is also the new frontwoman for Queen of Denmark.
The band performed at Platform K with Rikke Hvidbjerg at the front and presented the new lineup to the audience.
