Ragnhild May (b. 1988) is a Danish multidisciplinary artist and composer whose practice spans sculpture, sound installation, and performance. Trained at Det Jyske Kunstakademi, the Akademie der Bildende Künste Wien, and Bard College, New York (as a Fulbright Scholar), she centres her work on the relationship between sound and the body, and on the cultural history of instruments - including their design for normative bodies. She has received the Carl Nielsen Talent Prize for Young Composers and support from the Danish Arts Foundation's Young Artistic Elite programme, and is currently a PhD fellow at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

Bellows, May's collaboration with Stefan Maier, had its world premiere in a new version at Église Saint-Eustache in Paris as a commissioned work for Festival d'Automne 2025.
May had a solo show at SPOR Festival in Aarhus and at Kunsthal 6100 in Haderslev in 2025.
May performed at Organ Sound Art Festival in Copenhagen and at MAPS Museum for Art in Public Spaces in 2025.
Ragnhild May was a DAAD Arts & Media Fellow in Berlin in September and October 2022.
