Rasmus Dissing is a Danish singer and son of the beloved folk artist Povl Dissing, with whom he performed over 1,000 concerts as part of the quartet Dissing, Dissing, Las og Dissing. Since 2017 he has collaborated with flamenco dancer Kirstine Hastrup on the Flamencolegenderne project, which sets classic Danish songs against authentic Spanish flamenco. The project continues an artistic journey that Kirstine Hastrup and Povl Dissing began in Jerez de la Frontera in 2016.
Rasmus Dissing & Flamencolegenderne performed at KunstSmedjen in Roskilde on May 31, 2025 with Pedro Garrido 'El Niño de la Fragua' and Kirstine Hastrup on stage.
