Raunchy + Support: TBA
Danish metal band Raunchy performs at Spillestedet Stengade with a support act to be confirmed.
Raunchy are a Danish metal band from Aarhus, founded in 1992 by Jesper Tilsted, Jesper Kvist and Morten Toft Hansen. They blend melodic death metal with industrial and electronic textures, and in 2002 became the first Danish band to sign with the major German label Nuclear Blast. Seven studio albums in, including 2026's 'Prisoner', they remain one of Denmark's most distinctive heavy acts.
Seventh studio album 'Prisoner' was released on August 14, 2026 via Mighty Music - the band's first release since 'Vices.Virtues.Visions' in 2014.
Angry Metal Guy gave 'Prisoner' 3.5 out of 5 in his review and praised the album as a strong comeback.
Dead Rhetoric described 'Prisoner' as an impressive comeback and highlighted that the twelve years have treated the band's sonic universe well.
The album was announced in May 2026 and is released on splatter double vinyl (limited to 500 copies), CD and digitally.
In March 2026, the band confirmed on social media that the long break would end with a new album.
