Sego are an art-punk band from Provo, Utah, now based in Los Angeles, formed by singer-songwriter Spencer Petersen and drummer Thomas Carroll. Since debuting on Kitsuné Music in 2014, they have built a reputation for restless experimentation and hook-driven live shows, appearing at Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits and earning praise from NPR and Paste. A national Xfinity commercial featuring their music aired during both the Olympics and the Super Bowl.
Sego released their fourth studio album Direct To DVD on February 9, 2026 - a collection of new tracks and previously unreleased songs spanning from art-punk to house-remixes.
The album received positive reviews from, among others, Obscure Sound, which highlighted the band's ability to balance experimentalism with accessibility.
Sego released the single Never Enuf in December 2025 as a preview of Direct To DVD.
The band performed at Neurolux in Boise, Idaho in June 2025 as part of a US tour.
Sego toured the USA in October 2024 with stops in, among others, Seattle and American Fork, Utah.
