Shadow of Intent is an American deathcore band from Connecticut, founded in 2013 by vocalist Ben Duerr and guitarist Chris Wiseman as an online studio project. They blend deathcore with symphonic and melodic death metal across five studio albums, most recently 'Imperium Delirium' (2025). Their 2022 album 'Elegy' broke into the Billboard top 10 for Hard Music Albums, establishing them as a leading force in contemporary extreme metal.
Shadow of Intent announced a European fall tour 2026 with Aborted, Disembodied Tyrant and Soreption as support - the tour starts in Munich on September 25.
