CABAL and Gradience embark on a joint Christmas tour - and it's not elves and apple pancakes on the menu, but heavy riffs and devastating breakdowns as a deliberate contrast to the season's cosiness.
The Danish tempo specialists in CABAL have toured Europe, Japan and North America since their debut EP Purge (2016) and the critically acclaimed Mark of Rot (2018). The albums Drag Me Down (2020) and Magno Interitus (2022) followed, and most recently Everything Rots was released. GAFFA describes it as the band's most "cohesive and uncompromising release to date" with "breakdowns so heavy the earth cracks, and industrial layers and icy synths that send the listener straight into the darkest corners of the galaxy".
Copenhagen-based Gradience blends blackened death metal, trap-rap, metalcore and atmospheric synth layers. Their debut EP Ironsight from 2024 garnered over 400,000 streams, praise from Metal Hammer UK and nominations for "EP of the Year" and "Hope of the Year" at the Den Hårde Tone Awards. The band has played at UHØRT Festival, When Copenhell Freezes Over at VEGA and a sold-out TRAIN at SPOT Festival 2026. In 2025 they were signed by Metal Blade Records, and their debut album is planned for 2026.
