Sheila Simonsen

About

Sheila Simonsen is a Danish psychomotor therapist and co-founder of the Copenhagen clinic Psykomotoriske Terapeuter København, established in 2013. She holds a professional bachelor's degree in psychomotor therapy and relaxation pedagogy, and works clinically with stress, anxiety, sleep disorders and trauma - including as an IFS therapist. She has also been part of the EPIAS research project at Copenhagen University College, studying the effects of psychomotor therapy on clients with stress and anxiety.

    The EPIAS research project under Copenhagen School of Professional Studies, in which Simonsen participated, investigated the effect of psychomotor therapy targeted at clients with stress or anxiety symptoms.
