Signe Svendsen (born 16 October 1974 in Nyborg) is a Danish singer-songwriter who trained at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. She first came to national attention as part of the duo Rollo & King, which won the Danish Melodi Grand Prix in 2001 and finished runner-up at Eurovision with 'Never Ever Let You Go'. She has since built a solo career on her own terms, releasing six studio albums - most recently 'Alt Det Vi Gør For Ikke At Dø' (2026), which earned five-star reviews and topped the Danish vinyl chart.
Signe Svendsen's sixth studio album 'Alt Det Vi Gør For Ikke At Dø' was released on January 16, 2026 and received five-star reviews from, among others, GAFFA and All That as well as a first place on the vinyl chart.
The album 'Alt Det Vi Gør For Ikke At Dø' was named Album of the Week on DR P4 and received five stars in GAFFA.
In 2026, Signe Svendsen went on a band tour for the first time in five years with musicians from, among others, Lowly and Katinka Band.
The live album 'Hvem vil ikke elskes - Live i Studie 2', recorded at a concert in DR Koncerthuset's Studio 2 in December 2023, was released on May 3, 2024 and subsequently on vinyl in July via Svendsen's own company Lydia Gramophone.
