About
Simon Nielsen is a Danish veteran, author and public speaker who served five years in the French Foreign Legion as a combat diver and elite soldier. He wrote the memoir *Legionær: fem år i Fremmedlegionen*, covering everything from a brutal recruit period to missions against Islamists in Africa and a gold hunt in the Amazon. He now works as a firefighter with the Copenhagen emergency services.
