Sixpence None The Richer is an American alternative rock band from New Braunfels, Texas, founded in 1992 by guitarist Matt Slocum and vocalist Leigh Nash. Named after a passage in C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity, they broke through internationally in 1999 with "Kiss Me", which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. After disbanding in 2004, they reunited and have remained active, releasing the Rosemary Hill EP in 2024.
