Statement are a Danish hard rock band from the suburbs of Copenhagen, founded in 2011 by Niels Alex Larsen and Jannick Brochdorf. Drawing on classic heavy metal and melodic hard rock in the vein of Scorpions and Accept, they have released five studio albums on Mighty Music, the latest being 'Sinister Thing' (May 2025), produced by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio. The band has toured Europe and the UK alongside Diamond Head and has supported Michael Schenker.
Statement released their fifth studio album 'Sinister Thing' on May 9, 2025 via Mighty Music - on vinyl (limited to 300 copies), CD and digitally.
The band announced 'Sinister Thing' in March 2025 and released the first singles 'My Last Goodbye' and 'The World Is Fading' ahead of the album release.
For 'Sinister Thing', Statement collaborated again with producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio - a collaboration that dates back to the band's first two albums.
The band's fourth album 'Dreams From The Darkest Side' was released on October 7, 2022, produced by Søren Andersen at Medley Studios.
