STATEMENT

Statement released their fifth studio album 'Sinister Thing' in May, recorded and produced by the band themselves together with Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio - the same producer behind previous Statement records and albums by The Haunted, Meshuggah and BabyMetal.

The band has an impressive touring resume: European and UK tours with Diamond Head and Gin Annie, headline shows in England, support slots for Prong, Pretty Maids, Tesla and Tygers of Pan Tang, and most recently two support shows for original Scorpions guitarist Michael Schenker in Oslo and Stockholm. The music draws on classic and metallic hard rock with melodic passages and choruses in the style of Scorpions, Metallica, Accept and Volbeat.

Keld Broksø gave the live show 5/6 in Gaffa: "I felt entertained and enriched from start to finish, because technically we are world-class. And the fact that there is also performance and audience contact beyond the usual in an Udo Dirkschneider-style 'I'm-coming-after-you' way of working the crowd makes it even more entertaining."
