Tango Urquiza

About

Tango Urquiza is a Copenhagen tango school founded in 2004 by Linus Aabye, who trained in Buenos Aires under the late maestro José "el Turco" Brahemcha and later under Carlos and Rosa Perez. The school teaches traditional Argentine tango in the Villa Urquiza style - named after the Buenos Aires neighbourhood renowned for its elegant, refined dance tradition. Alongside regular classes, practicas and milongas, it hosts free outdoor tango evenings at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge each summer in partnership with Tangoforeningen.
