The Black Dahlia Murder are a melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, active since 2001. Signed to Metal Blade Records, they have released ten studio albums - from debut "Unhallowed" (2003) to "Servitude" (2024) - with eight of those charting on the Billboard 200. After founding vocalist Trevor Strnad died in May 2022, co-founder Brian Eschbach stepped up as frontman and the band pressed on.
The Black Dahlia Murder announced co-headlining tour "Wrath Across North America" with Arch Enemy, running from October 5 to November 16, 2026.
The band announced "Spring Fling 2026", a US headlining tour from April 2 to May 2, 2026 with The Acacia Strain as support.
Guy Kozowyk from The Red Chord stepped in as stand-in vocalist at Sonic Temple festival when Brian Eschbach was unavailable.
Guitarist Brandon Ellis left the band in February 2025, and a planned Latin American tour was postponed while Eschbach focused on his health.
Tenth studio album "Servitude" was released September 27, 2024 via Metal Blade Records - the band's first album with Eschbach as lead singer.
