The High Society is a Danish band that blends jazz, soul, funk and r&b into what they call acid soul. The project is built around the father-and-son production team Otto and Kristoffer Sidenius, with Xander Calasahan on lead vocals. Their sound ranges from near-big-band arrangements to tight, driving powersoul and ballads. Their debut album is Down From the Stars.
