About
The White Buffalo is the stage name of Jake Smith, an Oregon-born, Southern California-raised singer-songwriter and guitarist whose deep baritone and dark, cinematic storytelling set him apart in the Americana and roots rock world. With more than eight studio albums since 2002, he built a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic - boosted significantly by his songs appearing in Sons of Anarchy, The Punisher and This Is Us. NPR hailed him as an 'amazing storyteller', while Classic Rock Magazine called him 'America's darkest country/blues export'.
