About

Theatre of Voices is a Danish vocal ensemble founded in London in 1990 by British conductor and baritone Paul Hillier. Now based in Copenhagen, the group is regarded as one of the world's leading vocal ensembles, with a repertoire stretching from medieval polyphony to world premieres of new works, often created in close collaboration with composers such as Arvo Pärt, Steve Reich and David Lang. The ensemble has won Grammy Awards and contributed to film soundtracks including the Oscar-winning La Grande Bellezza and Denis Villeneuve's Arrival.
