Troels Skjærbæk (born 1974 in Herning) is a Danish bassist best known as a co-founder of the 1990s rock band Inside The Whale, which released four studio albums and left a lasting mark on Danish rock with songs like "Hvor er tiden, der ta'r os". After the band dissolved in 2001, he built a wide-ranging career as a freelance musician and sideman for artists including Poul Krebs, Niels Hausgaard and Michael Learns To Rock, and remains a permanent member of the rock band Baal.
Troels Skjærbæk is participating in Poul Krebs' major 70-year tour in 2025, which spans from community centers to a gala concert at the Royal Theatre, with Krebs' new album Fuldtidsforhåbninger as the focal point.
Skjærbæk performed with Poul Krebs on the church tour 'Ind i et nyt år' in January-February 2025, where the two performed in churches across the country.
