Trubaduren og hans Rockband are a six-piece band from Aarhus who weave Danish-language songwriting together with samba, bossa nova and folk rock. Drawing on Nordic artists such as Cornelis Vreeswijk and Otto Brandenburg, they have built a devoted following since their 2018 debut. Their third studio album "Et Stille Ord" (2025) was named album of the week on Danish radio P8 Jazz.
Trubaduren and his Rockband play three Thursdays in August in Musikhusparken in Aarhus as part of Musikhuset's large garden festival series.
The band releases the single "The Last Tourist in Barcelona" in late summer 2026 as a preview of upcoming music.
The release concert for "A Quiet Word" at Radar in Aarhus on March 8, 2025 was sold out.
The third studio album "A Quiet Word" was released on February 21, 2025 and was voted album of the week on P8 Jazz.
In connection with the album release, the band also played concerts at JazzHus in Kolding and Tøjhuset in Fredericia.
