Zoumer is the alias of Copenhagen-based Danish-Algerian singer, producer and songwriter Yasmina Derradj. Her music weaves electronic textures, oud, field recordings and sampled Middle Eastern instruments into vocal freestyles that sit between alternative pop, punk, breakbeats and Algerian raï. The name Zoumer pays tribute to 19th-century Algerian freedom fighter Lalla Fatma N'Soumer. Her 2026 sophomore album e.a.l. (euro arab lovergirl) has established her as one of the most distinctive voices in Copenhagen's experimental music scene.
