Young Flowers were among the first Danish bands to play progressive rock, emerging in the late 1960s with a sound built on high volume, extended guitar solos and double drum kits. Founded by drummer Ken Gudman, the band drew heavily on British psychedelic rock. Several members have also played with acts such as Savage Rose and Kim Larsen's Bellami.
