Kirke Hyllinge Bibliotek on Bygaden is the largest branch of Lejre Bibliotek & Arkiv and serves as the system's main library. It sits centrally in town next to Kirke Hyllinge Skole and houses a colourful children's library, study spaces and meeting rooms. Self-service access runs on weekdays from 06:00 to 22:00, with staffed hours four times a week. The library regularly hosts exhibitions, author evenings and other cultural events.
