Reading Aloud for Adults
Adults gather at Lundby Library to read aloud from literature to each other. Coffee and tea are provided, and entry is free.
Lundby Bibliotek on Lundby Hovedgade is a branch of Vordingborg Bibliotekerne, operating mainly as a self-service library with staff present on Mondays and Thursdays. It has strong local roots - when the municipality tried to close it in 2001, residents collected 701 signatures in a single week and saved it. The building also houses Lundby Sognearkiv (the parish archive) in the basement and attic, and a meeting room for around 20 people that local groups and associations can borrow free of charge.
