Workshop in Reading Aloud and Oral Presentation — Lundby Bibliotek, Lundby
Free entry

Librarian Merete Stockfleth and rhetorician Varinka Kierulff Boseman lead a workshop on using voice and body to convey a text with calm and presence. Through practical exercises, you will work with text selection, breathing, posture, pronunciation, and voice use - with breaks and shared reflection throughout.

Many recognize it: the voice becomes uncertain, words stumble, or it feels overwhelming to speak in front of others - even when the text is simple on paper. No special prerequisites are required to participate, only a desire to actively work with reading aloud and oral presentation, or curiosity to find more calm in your voice.

In the workshop, you read aloud for the other participants, give and receive constructive feedback, and try exercises that strengthen your oral presentation. You are welcome to bring a short text of your own.

Varinka Kierulff Boseman holds a cand.mag. in rhetoric with voice-use profile, is a trained classical singer and instructor in Rhythmic Breathing Phonation, and has worked as a speech therapist in municipal services for over 16 years. Coffee, tea, and water are served. The workshop is free with a ticket, max 8 participants. Registration by Thursday, October 1, 2026.
