About the venue

Nørrelandskirken on Døesvej in Holstebro was consecrated on 21 September 1969, designed by the architect couple Inger and Johannes Exner. The church interior is cube-shaped, while the distinctive bell tower - known locally as "Æ dueslaw" - is a 35-metre lattice mast with a 110-step staircase leading up to a pine-wood bell house holding 47 bells. The wider church complex includes a cloister garden and numerous rooms used for parish activities throughout the week.
