About the venue

Videnshuset is an office building on Sønderborg Harbour, completed in 2013 to designs by Schmidt/Hammer/Lassen. It forms part of Frank Gehry's masterplan for the harbour area and spans five floors with 4,750 m² of office space, plus shared canteen and meeting rooms on the ground floor. The copper-coloured facade and a rooftop terrace with views over Alssund are its most distinctive features. The building was constructed to low-energy standards under Building Class 2020, with solar panels and wind-power supply.
