Opening Concert: BACH FOR BRASS / The Danish Brass Quintet

Den Danske Messingkvintet consists of five musicians, all of whom teach at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

J.S. Bach did not compose for brass quintet himself, but many of his works are well-suited to this particular ensemble and emerge with new clarity and new timbres in this form. The quintet features: Nikolaj Viltoft and Jonas Wiik (trumpet), Jakob Keiding (horn), Jesper Juul (trombone) and Jens Bjørn-Larsen (tuba).

Doors open 30 minutes before the concert. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
