High School Afternoon - Lecturer and Storyteller Lisbeth Weitemeyer & Viborg Cathedral Choir

Lecturer and storyteller Lisbeth Weitemeyer shares stories about Christmas traditions and customs through the ages. Through storytelling, readings, and group singing, we explore the many histories and customs of Christmas: Where does the Christmas tree come from? Did people eat goose in the old days? When did we start giving gifts - and have aebleskiver always looked the way they do today? And what about the Christmas elves?

During the afternoon, Viborg Cathedral Choir performs a Lucia procession. Candles are lit, and the afternoon concludes with coffee in good company.
