Copenhagen Cantata Choir performs Bach's Christmas Oratorio in December with cantatas I, II, IV and V. The work was composed for the Christmas days of 1734-1735, when Bach was cantor at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig - it is not actually an oratorio, but a cycle of six cantatas.

The choir is conducted by Torben H.S. Svendsen, and the soloists are Nina Bols Lundgren (soprano), Laura Hilden (alto), Tyler Ray (tenor) and Asmus Hanke (bass).

The concert takes place at Bagsværd Church on Tuesday, December 22 at 19:30. Duration: 2 hours including intermission.
