Thompson Springs is a rock band from Chicago, USA, led by singer and songwriter Matt Smith. The group plays in a "western rock" and "heartland rock" style with roots in classic country, blues, and indie rock - inspired by artists like Tom Petty and Kurt Vile. They have toured throughout the USA, New Zealand, and across Europe.

The band consists of Matt Smith (guitar and vocals), Jacob Bicknase (drums), David Thrift (bass), Anthony Cook (guitar), Pat Leary (piano), and Ryan Suzuka (electric harmonica).
