Ellen Hillingsø: The Nightingale

Ellen Hillingsø tells H.C. Andersen's fairy tale The Nightingale while musician Poul Høxbro accompanies with Chinese music on the ancient flute xun, along with gongs, cymbals and bells. The performance opens with a poetic introduction built on European nightingale tones and texts by St. St. Blicher and A. E. Brehm.

Hillingsø is an actress known from the Mofibo Awards, where she has both hosted and won prizes for her audiobook narrations.
