Per Pallesen - "My Eventful Life - Osse li' på en studs"

Per Pallesen is best known to most as the pompous waiter Boldt from the Danish TV series Matador and as Mathiesen with his white coat, thick-rimmed glasses, and catchphrases like "osse li' på en studs" and "what do you have in your tæjsk today". He is also one half of the comedy duo Pallesen & Pilmark and has left his mark on Hjørring Revyen, Dansk Naturgas, and Nørrebro Teater.

Over his career, he has been involved in more than 200 theatre productions, 75 directing credits, 70 revues, and 1,600 TV and radio appearances. In this lecture, he shares stories from a long life in Danish entertainment: choosing work over family, Danish theatre from Dirch to major musicals, from Sommer i Tyrol to Mathiesen - and life behind the red curtain. He speaks openly about both the bright moments and the difficult periods.

The event takes place on Tuesday, 29 September 2026 at Gørlev Library. Buffet is served from 6 p.m., the lecture runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and coffee and cake are served during the interval. Beer, water, and wine can be purchased at the bar.
