Mushroom Foraging in Slagslunde Forest, Sunday 4 October, 1:00 PM - approx. 4:00 PM

This guided tour is ideal for beginners who want to learn about mushrooms. Autumn is the right season to find them, though weather always plays a role in how good the season turns out.

We take a walk through the forest, which normally hosts fine edible mushrooms - but toxic species can also appear, and it is especially important to be able to recognize them. The mushrooms found will be reviewed by an experienced mushroom expert, so you don't risk taking something wrong home. If you bring afternoon coffee, it can be enjoyed during the final review.

Remember to bring a basket and knife, perhaps a mushroom guide, and wear practical footwear - it can be damp in places.
