Guided Walk - Eriksvolde, Skåningshave Forest and Lysemose Forest — Maribo

Led by Kirsten Pedersen, Dansk Vandrelaug Storstrøm and Leif Plith Lauritsen, museum inspector at Museum Lolland-Falster

As part of Nature Week, DVL Storstrøm and Museum Lolland-Falster invite you on a guided walk from the open-air museum to Eriksvolde, where both nature and cultural heritage are explored along the way.

The walk starts at the open-air museum De gamle Huse and heads towards the medieval fortress Eriksvolde, where Leif Plith Lauritsen shares the history of this site - one of Denmark's largest medieval castles. We meet Leif Plith Lauritsen at 11:30 at Erikstrupvej 10 and walk towards the fortress. After the talk, we return through Skåningshave and Lysemose forests to the cars.

If you only wish to attend the talk about Eriksvolde, you can park at Erikstrupvej 10, 4930 Maribo. (The price is the same.)

The walk is free for DVL members. Non-members: 60 kr.

Practical information:

The walk is approximately 12 km.

The fortress site itself is uneven terrain.
