Lolland Bat Tour Maribo

Bats are the only mammals capable of active flight. They represent an extraordinary diversity of species - about 1/5 of all known mammals, totalling roughly 1,700 species worldwide. Denmark is home to 17 registered species.

This event at Kidnakken offers the chance to experience bats during twilight and listen to their calls through bat detectors. Children are very welcome to participate and discover the secret life of these fascinating creatures.

The tour is free but requires advance registration. It is arranged in collaboration with Museum Lolland-Falster and the Lolland branch of Danmarks Naturfredningsforening (Danish Nature Conservation Society).
