Kultur & Cocktail - September Morn

Culture & Cocktail is the Culture House's after-work event: one hour of community, a cocktail, and a theme. You mix your own drink while the organizers present performances featuring art, history, literature, and music tailored to the theme.

This evening marks the 100th anniversary of Randers State School's iconic building on Rådmands Boulevard (celebrated on September 19, 2026). The programme focuses on the city's historic gymnasium. First, we mix a September Morn cocktail, then three speakers take the stage: Tina Knudsen Jensen, archivist at Randers City Archive, discusses Randers Learned School / Randers State School, whose roots go back to the Middle Ages; Inger Nygaard Kaad, coordinator for Culture & Communication at Randers Library, highlights the school's notable alumni; and museum inspector Julie Margrethe Nyrup talks about painter Johan Rohde as one of them.

The event is tied together with a couple of group songs fitting the theme.
