Inger Nygaard Kaad holds a master's degree in Nordic language and literature and works as coordinator of Culture and Communication at Randers Library. She gives lectures on Danish literary and cultural history - covering figures such as Karin Michaëlis and Steen Steensen Blicher - and appeared in the TV programme "Øgendahl og de store forfattere". In 2020 she conceived the audio walk "Hemmeligheden om Randers", an invisible theatre piece starring Bodil Jørgensen, which premiered in June 2022 and has since drawn thousands of visitors.
