Calby is Copenhagen-based musician Mik Thybo, who since his debut has collected six Top 10 radio hits, including 'The Everyday Bit', 'The Million Dollar Song', the breakthrough 'Burnout', and latest radio hit 'While I Wait'. His modern take on classic soul and R'n'B has earned him the Carl Prize, two Danish Music Award nominations, and over 30 million streams on Spotify.
He is now on tour with the Trilogi Tour - three tour series in one: solo, as a trio, and with a full band. The first part is the solo concept, where Calby performs alone with his guitar. As he puts it: "There is something fragile and naked about the musician alone on stage with his guitar. An exposure and a kind of tightrope walk with the audience, where you can easily fall, but also catch each other." And further: "This is where you enter the DNA of a song, its origin and the feelings behind it."
The solo part of the tour does not take place at the well-known venues in the major cities, but at small intimate locations and in church spaces around Denmark. During November the tour expands to the trio format, and the third part with the full band will be performed at DR Koncertsalen in Copenhagen and Store Sal in Musikhuset Aarhus in early 2027.
