Senior Guided Tour: The Fall of Freedom. Art in Germany 1910-1945

This senior-focused guided tour begins with a brief introduction to the exhibition in a private room, followed by a group visit to the exhibition itself. The programme features a selection of masterworks from Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie - works never before displayed in Denmark - spanning the period before World War I through the end of World War II. The exhibition explores both the artistic euphoria and freedom of these decades and the darker reality in which art was subjected to political control and censorship.

The gallery has folding chairs, and wheelchairs are available for loan at the entrance. Coats can be stored in the private room. The tour is arranged with consideration for guests' physical and mental needs.

Meeting point: Level 4, Cloakroom, where an ARoS education assistant will greet you.

Price: 50 kr. excluding museum admission. The tour is offered in collaboration between Ældre Sagen and ARoS.
