Masterclass - Die Brücke & Der Blaue Reiter: Their Inspiration, Self-Understanding and Purpose in Art History

This masterclass explores two German artist groups, Die Brücke and Der Blaue Reiter - their era, the motifs and moods they worked with, and how they understood themselves and their artistic project. The session concludes by drawing connections to other artists, both Danish and international, who likewise worked with expressive forms of expression.

The instruction is led by ARoS's education assistant Martin Bjerg Dahl, a graduate student and bachelor in Aesthetics and Culture with a specialization in art history, who has extensive experience in art-historical education and lectures.
