Special event for HTX classes

INVENTION FESTIVAL - special event for upper secondary school classes

On the occasion of Invention Festival 2026, we invite HTX classes to a day where inventiveness, innovation and creativity are at the centre. For the second year in a row, the festival brings together some of the country's strongest research environments, associations, companies, educational institutions, inventors, artists and technology communicators in Helsingør.

The museum is of course open to everyone on this day, but please note that the halls will be buzzing with activity and filled with school classes from across the country. On Saturday, 29 August, the Invention Festival is open to all. Read the programme here.

Friday's programme ranges from fusion energy and cybersecurity to artificial intelligence, sustainable building materials and creative technology. The aim is to give HTX students new perspectives on how science and technology can help solve some of the societal challenges we face.

Students can meet researchers from DTU, Aalborg University, University of Southern Denmark, University of Copenhagen and KEA.

Among the speakers are the winners of The Bright Idea 2025, Andreas S.H. Rygaard and Viktor R. Tamstorf from DTU, who have developed a solution that helps ensure clean drinking water.

Line Kloster Pedersen, entrepreneur, biotechnologist and founder and CEO of Visibuilt, talks about developing a fungal solution that can replace the fossil binder in asphalt and contribute to the green transition.

In addition, students can work practically with everything from hacking and computer games to LEGO-based product development, 3D printing and art made from recycled plastic.
