The Gothic brick church stands centrally in the town and serves as the seat of Helsingør Diocese. The event also marks the inaugural concert of the newly established Helsingør Cathedral Choir, which will form the basis for an annual Christmas concert close to Christmas Eve. Tickets cost 100 kr. Koppel is touring Denmark with a total of eight concert dates.
