Model Railway Meet 2026

On September 5 and 6, Danmarks Tekniske Museum transforms into a paradise for railway enthusiasts. Experience model trains of all sizes rolling through the museum's halls, explore miniature worlds filled with charming details like small station towns and landscapes.

You can get up close to everything from small, detailed layouts to large models running on real steam, and meet the dedicated model builders who showcase their work and demonstrate how they create these beautiful tracks. An experience for the whole family!

Outside the museum halls, the Parkbanen miniature train runs, so you can hop on the 800-meter-long track and feel the wind in your hair.

The Model Railway Meet runs September 5-6 from 10:00 to 17:00. Adult admission is 130 kr. - children enter free. Free parking in front of the museum. The miniature train runs between 11:00 and 15:00. Tickets cost 25 kr. and can be purchased at the museum entrance. In case of rain, the miniature train does not run.
